Moonlighting with Insomniac- December Edition

Hi Everyone-

Eureka! Well- maybe it’s better to say we think we have it. In looking at ways to be more current, interactive, and be able to share more with fans of Moonlighting, we are trying something new in 2017. As mentioned in the September post – we felt we needed to step back and re-evaluate and come up with something better. What we have come up with – we hope- is as exciting for you as it is for us. Each month, Kerri and I will answer two questions (one from the CA studio, and one from the NC studio), submitted from you, by getting in front of the camera and sharing- yikes! We’re looking at this as a video FAQ and fireside chat merged together. Our hope is that by putting a face and voice to the answer, along with antidotal insight, this will help bring our studio, culture and knowledge to life for you. This will be a work in progress – so we ask your patience with us – but the one thing you can do right away is submit a question you’d like answered. These questions should still focus around recruitment and HR – as that is our forte. But ask away – and let’s see where this takes us! We will post the short videos (hoping for 2-4 min segments) on our Moonlighting page, and comments/questions will still be open as they are currently.

We look forward to hearing from you, and to launching this new phase of Moonlighting in January, 2017.

Have a great holiday season – and see you in the New Year!

Kerri and Angela

  • Hello Kerri and Angela. This is very exciting to hear! I hope Moonlighting with Insomniac does well in 2017. That being said, let’s get started with some questions:

    1. How long does it generally take for a candidate to be considered for a role?

    2. Crafting and completing an application for a specific role takes time. Is this taken under consideration when looking for potential candidates?

    3. Are most roles at Insomniac project-based or full-time?

    4. How extensive is the interview process at Insomniac?

    5. Will Insomniac make merchandise for its Oculus games and PS4 games?

That’s all for now and thanks for taking the time to answer my questions!

    Until next year,

    – Donte’
